Following the request of the Permanent Delegation of Bangladesh to UNESCO concerning official correspondence (copy enclosed for ease of reference), I should be grateful if you would ensure that all staff under your authority strictly observe the following procedures hereafter:  All formal/official (and demi- official correspondence) addressed by the Director-General, the Deputy Director-General and Assistant Directors-General to government officials in Bangladesh should be forwarded with a covering note to the Permanent Delegation of Bangladesh, which will dispatch/transmit as required, with an open copy addressed to the Permanent Delegate.  All other routine or regular correspondence should be copied to both the Bangladesh Permanent Delegation to UNESCO and the Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO, as specified in the UNESCO Official Correspondence Guide.
